William Cooper

Chairman and CEO

As Chairman and CEO of S-B Construction Group, Mr. Cooper directs the daily operations, formulating strategies and policies to achieve overall corporate objectives while fulfilling the organization’s commitment to the communities we serve. William strives to ensure that each client’s experience is satisfying and enjoyable. He believes that we have accomplished a win when our customers view their finished projects as a success.



Mr. Cooper joined S-B Construction in 1987. He brought with him an extensive background in design/build, construction management, project management, and estimating disciplines.  He has acquired additional experience in construction administration, design, zoning, and permitting since entering the industry in 1976. William earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction from Northeast Louisiana University (now ULM). William and his wife, Reba, have been married since 1976 and have two children. When time permits, William enjoys golf, skiing, and running.

Reba Cooper

Secretary, Treasurer

Reba Cooper joined S-B Construction Group in January 2011. She has several responsibilities with the company, which includes Secretary, Treasurer, and Human Resources.


Reba handled all accounting and human resource functions with a banking background until hiring a full-time Controller in 2015.


Reba has been married to William since 1976.  They have two children and 7 grandchildren, which keep her happy and busy out of the office. Her focus is on Christ in all she does. She enjoys family, friends, the beach, and the LSU Tigers.


Reba holds a BBA in accounting from Northeast Louisiana University. She became a CPA in June of 1983.

Chase Cooper

President

As President, Chase works closely with the rest of the S-B Executive Team to develop and implement new goals and strategies for the company. Chase works alongside the VP of Operations to ensure projects are being completed on-time and within budget. In addition, Chase oversees the accounting and administrative departments within S-B. He is focused on the growth and maintaining the quality & commitment to our clients and their projects.


Growing up in a construction family, Chase was exposed to the construction industry from a very young age. Chase began his career at S-B Construction Group as a field laborer. He worked up through the company to project coordinator, superintendent, project manager, and then estimator. Chase holds a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University in Spanish Language and Literature. Chase and his wife Erica have been married since 2013 and have four children. Chase enjoys spending time with his wife and children, hunting, skiing, and watching LSU football games.

Bradley Tyler

Executive Vice President

As Executive Vice-President of Operations for S-B Construction Group, Brad is responsible for managing the daily operations and providing schedules for the estimating department. Brad works closely with project managers, estimators, and field supervisors to ensure projects are completed as designed and that our service meets the Owner’s expectations. Brad joined S-B Construction Group in 2014 and brought substantial construction experience within the commercial, industrial, institutional, and health services arenas. Brad also has experience with serving as Owner’s Rep, construction manager, general contractor, and prime contractor.



Brad earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Management from Purdue University before meeting his wife, Linda. They have been married since 1992 and have four children. Brad enjoys spending time with his children, working with youth, and snow skiing.

Joe Smith

Vice President of Church Division

As Vice President of Business Development at S-B Construction Group, Joe oversees our Church Facility Division. Joe trains and works with our Ministry Project Executives. Our team focus is presenting our unique process of facilitating vision, growth, funding, sustainability, design, and construction of the church and school facilities. Joe came on board in March of 2011, bringing over 25 years of sales and marketing experience.



Joe has been involved in church leadership for over 40 years, working at almost every level, including lay and ministerial; he currently serves as an Elder at his church. He brings unique insight, understanding from both sides of the table, both Pastoral and Lay. Joe and his wife have been married since 1975 and have two children and five grandchildren. Joe loves spending time with his family, and there is nothing better than a house full of grandkids.

Mark Wright

Ministry Project Executive

Mark joined the S-B Construction Group team in 2019. After 36 years as a lead pastor, Mark felt called to take his ministry to his next significance.


Mark came with a passion for cultivating relationships with our clients and a history of valuable experience in building churches. 


Over his career, Mark led the construction of six church facilities, acquired three properties, organized eight capital campaigns, and developed a master plan for a successful church relocation. 


With his experience as a pastor, he understands the client's “side of the desk.”  Having served on multiple church building teams, Mark brings valuable wisdom and understanding to the process. He excels at helping clients see their vision come to fruition. 



Mark has been married to Sarah since 1983, and they have three kids, three in-luvs (two daughters-in-law and one son-in-law), and four grandkids. 

Chaz Druetzler

Senior Estimator

As Senior Estimator, Chaz is responsible for preparing conceptual budgets and competitive bids for the commercial division of S-B Construction Group. Chaz joined the team in 2012.


Chaz works with owners, architects, suppliers, and subcontractors to identify project needs, the duration of the project, and the associated costs. 


Once a project is awarded, he will work with the project managers to write the scope of work and facilitate the permitting process. Chaz is skilled with creating the detailed analysis of the construction documents and communicating critical pieces of information to the necessary parties, whether within S-B Construction or with outside parties.



Chaz earned a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University, where he met his wife, Laura. Chaz and Laura have been married since 2009 and have 3 children. They enjoy spending time with family and friends.

Joni Perkins

Senior Project Manager

Joni has been with S-B Construction Group since January 2003.  Joni is the Manager of the Special Retail Projects Division. 


She handles all aspects of our retail construction project from the very beginning all the way through to the end. She will work with each client to establish budgets, assist with the architectural process, work with local building authorities to obtain permits, and oversee the project, ensuring they are delivered on-time and within budget. 


Joni has created close working relationships with subcontractors, earning their respect, which ensures ongoing trust and competitive pricing. She meets every project deadline as a  result of her dedication to the project.



Joni is married and has one child. She enjoys beach vacations, watching her son play football, and spending time with family.
